Look for our 2005 Syrahs from Clifton Hill and Alder Creek Vineyards. Seia Wine Cellars is a small, family-owned winery focusing on artisan-crafted small lots of wine from some of the finest vineyards in Washington state. We invite you to join our friends and family who are following us as we pursue our dream of making the best wine in Washington state!
Who We AreSeia (pronounced SAY-ah) is the Roman goddess of things that are planted in the ground. Because we try to honor and work with nature in both the vineyard and the cellar, we found it fitting to name our winery after the goddess Seia. We have visited and tasted our way through many of the world's great wine areas. From Bordeaux to Burgundy, Alsace to Australia and California to the Rhone Valley, each visit allowed us to learn about different wines and talk to many of the people who make them. After volunteering at some local wineries in the Seattle area, we finally succumbed to our crazy dream and became a bonded winery. Seia Wine Cellars was born in a cellar with a little luck, a little inspiration, and the help from a lot of our friends. From our hands to your table - Rob and Kim Spalding
