Winemaker’s Tasting Notes and Comments 2005 brings the welcome addition of a new vineyard to the Seia portfolio of wines. Lean and lithe, this European style wine shows tight fruit flavors with incredible tannins formed by the winds of the Columbia Gorge. A fantastic counterpoint to our Clifton Hill Syrah, this wine truly shows the difference of terroir. Only 220 cases produced. The Vineyard Alder Creek Vineyard is located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Situated on a ridge overlooking the Columbia River and Oregon on the other side, this is a cooler site and is influenced by winds coming up the Columbia Gorge. Pricing $20
